What’s New about the NEW PresbyterianIntegrity.org?
In short, the original PresbyterianIntegrity.org represented the views of a group of concerned churchmen; the NEW PresbyterianIntegrity.org is the personal blog of Mark Rooze, the original site’s webmaster.
At the turn of the new millenium, the Presbyterian Church in America became embroiled in an intra-church skirmish when a group known as the Presbyterian Pastoral Leadership Network (PPLN) organized to advocate a number of positions that were contrary to the concerns of the PCA when she was founded. The original PresbyterianIntegrity.org represented the views of a group of concerned, confessional Presbyterians who opposed these changes. Mark Rooze was webmaster of that site and the author of all the unsigned content, but he remained in the background to the public, his name appearing nowhere. Eventually the opposing parties agreed to a de-escalation, and PresbyterianIntegrity.org disappeared into the perdition of parked domains and click-for-pay search engine links.
At last, Mark Rooze has redeemed his beloved domain name. The new PresbyterianIntegrity.org no longer represents a group – it is Mark Rooze’s personal blog on all things ecclesiastical. But it still promises be worthwhile reading.
Enjoy.
